For the first time live in Revolution Square, Bucharest, Crowd Control brings the Electronic Fusion to DADA 100 by Kulturama on 9 July.
A three-piece Bucharest based sonic project, the projects live performance translates into a journey at the very thin borders of social manifesto, indietronica, 8-bit music and dub.
Its members are Intimidatah – vocals, spoken-word, Răzvanescu – synthesizers, piano and Coshmelin – drums and percussion.
Crowd Control have shared the stage with eclectic bands and artists such as: Rodion GA, Electric Brother, Samanul Mut, Travka, SHESDEAD, Baba Dochia, Fine It’s Pink, Temple Invisible, Iordache, Harlequin_Jack, Violent Monkey, Poetrip, Brother Tzuc, Indie Jules, Moebius, Eddie Neuman,Inward String, Calin & the Alien Orchestra. Their performances are a multimedia experience that fuses music with with engaging visuals. Occasionally live gaming is added to the mix for a full-fledged experience.
The Crowd Control singles have got attention from international stations such as London’s KaneFM, Sydney’s Curved Radio, Palco Principal (Brasil) and Koelncampus (Germany and Austria). On home turf they are a regular play on: eclecticfm, Activ EFEM, Radio Guerrilla, nicecreamfm, Tananana, Radio Trib, Baraka, Radio Romania Cultural, Radio Bucuresti, Radio Cooperativa Urbana and Delahaze.fm.
Currently Crowd Control are taking on tour their conceptual mixtape LOUD BLOOD YOUTH, that brings together music signed by some of the freshest music producers in Romania and a visual animated book of collages by Cristiana Bucureci. The mixtape is out NOW on the Dubkraft/ False Flag Operation label and features production from Cristian Fierbinteanu, Secuem, Platonic Scale, Ilarian, Costas Ivanov, Elektromekanik & Happy Gutenberg, MAD, The Ghost of 3.13 & Alin Zabrauteanu. The release also includes suprising collaborations with Romanian electronic music legends such as Rodion GA & Adrian Enescu.
